Participants will be able to choose between the two below options:

  • Lion Salt Works Museum;
  • Winsford Rock Salt mine (Compass Minerals) - please note that only 50 participants are allowed to visit the Winsford Rock Salt mine (the principle 'first come, first serve' will be applied). Choose this option only if you own a pair of safety shoes and will be willing to take them to the visit.

How to get there?

INNSiDE by Meliã Liverpool, 43 Old Hall Street, Liverpool (United Kingdom), is easily reachable by car, plane or train.

STATIONS:

Liverpool Lime Street Station is approximately 1 mile (1.6 km) distant. Taxis are readily available, and it's a short drive. Walking is also an option, taking about 20 minutes.

Liverpool James Street Station is approximately 0.3 miles (0.5 km) distant and conveniently located within walking distance, around a 5-minute walk from the hotel.

Liverpool Moorfields Station is approximately 0.3 miles (0.5 km) and easily accessible on foot, taking around 5 minutes to walk to the hotel.

AIRPORTS

Liverpool Airport is easily reachable by Taxi / Uber or by Public Transport. From the airport, you may take a bus number 500 (the fastest), 80A, 82A, 86A or 10A to Liverpool One Bus Station. Then, a bus to Liverpool South Parkway, and transfer to a train to Liverpool Lime Street.

Manchester Airport is easily reachable by Taxi / Uber or by Public Transport. From the airport, take a direct train from Manchester Airport to Liverpool Lime Street Station.

Please find below the registration rates for the EUsalt 27-30 May Events (for members) and 29-30 May Events (for non-members).

EUsalt member: 500,00€ (excl. 20% UK VAT)*

* Registration fee will cover admission to EUsalt internal meetings on 27-28 May (all meals, breaks and refreshments included) as well as 29 May EUsalt Conference (all meals, breaks & refreshments). It will also give you access to the social programme (30 May) and materials distributed during the event. It does not cover travelling, hotel accommodation and extras.

EUsalt non-member: 880,00€ (excl. 20% UK VAT)**

Accommodation

EUsalt has a preferential rate at INNSiDE by Meliã Liverpool.

Located a short walk from the iconic Royal Liver Building and the Royal Albert Dock, the hotel combines British style, contemporary architecture and Spanish hospitality in the very heart of downtown Liverpool.

EUsalt has secured a room block at the INNSiDE by Meliã Liverpool. You have the option to stay at the hotel with a special bedroom rate of £139.00 (equivalent to 162.45 euros), which includes breakfast. You may find the room booking link in the confirmation email sent once you register for the event.

The accommodation expenses are not included in the registration fee. The above room rate is per room, per night and includes breakfast, Wi-Fi internet connection and VAT. The city tax is not included and will be paid upon check-in.

Guests are allowed to cancel their room reservations at no cost until 20 May 2024 included. Any cancellation later than 20 May 2024 or any no-show will be charged for the full reserved stay to the guest's credit card. Please note that on 6 May 2024, 100% of the unpicked rooms will be released automatically (50% of the unpicked rooms will already be released on 15 April 2024). Any booking after the final release date will be subject to the hotel's availability and conditions.

The room rates are valid for the following dates: 27 May - 1 June 2024.*

*Please note that the negotiated room rates are special group rates, requiring a minimum number of rooms per night. Should the demand change to less than what was agreed with EUsalt, the hotel keeps the right to adapt the room rate.
