EUsalt announces new board member
Peter Untersperger from Salinen Austria was elected as a member of the EUsalt Board of Directors. His appointment was announced at the virtual General Assembly held yesterday following electronic voting by EUsalt members.
Peter is the CEO of the newly joined EUsalt member, Salinen Austria, and he will serve a three-year term.
“I am pleased to welcome Peter to the Board of Directors” said Urs Hofmeier, the President of the Board. ”He will bring a wealth of experience and expertise in the salt sector and will be a valuable asset to our association as we further our mission of supporting the European salt sector thrive.”
He continued, “I would also like to extend our warm thanks to Nikolaos Tsarapatsanis from Hellenic Saltworks who is finishing a six-year mandate as board member. His commitment during all these years is highly appreciated.”
